We are available to assist with facilitation (serving as the facilitator for key conversations, planning workshops, and/or working closely with the core planning team), provide strategic insight to ensure that realistic expectations are created in alignment with available capacity, resources and staff/volunteer time, clarify overall vision and direction amongst leadership teams, and more.
Organization
Organizational structure- from formal policy to implicit culture- is key to your initiative’s success. We can assist you in defining, planning and executing strategic organizational change, from both people and systems perspectives. This work may include: coaching individuals to improve their abilities to lead and manage, exploring innovative leadership and management strategies to achieve desired results, improving communication channels within organizations, departments or networks to develop and build trust and respect amongst partners, and/or an analysis of staffing needs and how existing positions might be restructured to create internal and external clarity regarding roles and responsibilities.
Engagement
Long-term systems change requires the input and buy-in from community members. We are available to support the design and implementation of meaningful engagement opportunities amongst diverse stakeholder groups by: coordinating and hosting meetings to gather public input, conducting focus groups and listening sessions for feedback on existing and/or new services, and providing training opportunities for staff to hone, develop and implement skills and best practices for running effective meetings.
Collaboration
Complex problems require complex solutions, and no one organization or individual is equipped to go it alone. With extensive experience in cooperative design and network-building, we are proud to support initiatives seeking broad cross-sector collaboration. In consultation with your project team, we offer training and coaching in collaborative decision-making processes, distributed leadership models, and network design. We are also available to provide facilitation for network meetings, mediating conflicts, and lending a “third party perspective” to difficult problems.
